About JT Wilcox

JT Wilcox is as local as you can get

JT Wilcox grew up right here in the 2nd District, on the farm his Great Grandparents began along the banks of the Nisqually River. Today, JT and his wife Kathy still live on that farm where they raised James, Donnie, and Katie. Kathy is a local schoolteacher, James is an Army Reservist, Donnie and his wife Aileen and daughter Emma moved back near the farm last year, and Katie makes custom furniture. JT’s family has lived and worked here more than 110 years.

Before becoming our representative, JT helped run the family farm, served as a volunteer fireman, led the national “Got Milk” ad campaign, managed forest lands, advised family-owned businesses, and volunteered with the Yelm Public Schools. The family enjoys hunting and hikes across the farm. Four generations of the family graduated from Yelm Public Schools and many have taught there.

JT Wilcox has a record of defending our community, our state, and our values.
